Popular Nigerian streamer Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has revealed that Peter Obi reached out to him for a possible livestream session on his platform.
Peller made the disclosure in a video circulating on social media on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, while clarifying that the proposed collaboration should not be interpreted as an endorsement of any presidential candidate.
According to the content creator, his interest is simply to host the former Anambra State governor on his platform, rather than campaign for him ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“Peter Obi reached out to me that he want to do a livestream with me. Before you people get the wrong idea, I’m not promoting any Presidential Candidate, and I’m not asking you to vote for Peter Obi. I just want to stream with him on my platform,” Peller said.
The development comes after Obi recently appeared on a TikTok Live session hosted by another creator, sparking reactions across social media. Peller also expressed excitement about the politician’s growing presence on the platform.
As of the time of this report, no date has been announced for the proposed livestream.
