Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has drawn attention after dancing with President Bola Tinubu at the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council in Abuja on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
Adeleke, popularly known as the “dancing governor,” attended the ceremony following his appointment as the coordinator of Tinubu’s 2027 presidential campaign in Osun State, despite belonging to the Accord Party.
During the event, the governor expressed support for Tinubu’s re-election bid, declaring his readiness to mobilise support for the president ahead of the 2027 general election.
“We’re going to sing, we’re going to dance all the way back to Aso Rock,” Adeleke said, expressing confidence in Tinubu’s chances of securing a second term.
The governor also urged Nigerians to give Tinubu more time to implement his administration’s reforms, saying four years would not be enough.
The dancing moment between both politicians added a lively touch to the campaign council’s inauguration as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
