Iseyin has welcomed the first batch of soldiers posted to the town's proposed Artillery Unit, marking a significant step in the commencement of military deployment to the area.
According to the report, the soldiers' temporary accommodation site is located along the Pata Olomo/Onigbongbo–Awaye Road in Iseyin, Oyo State.
The arrival of the soldiers is expected to strengthen military presence in Iseyin and contribute to ongoing efforts to improve security across the town and neighbouring communities.
This development is an important moment for Iseyin and the entire Oke-Ogun region. We hope that the establishment of the Artillery Unit will bring greater security, peace of mind to residents, and a safer environment for businesses, farmers, and other members of the community.
As we welcome our soldiers, we pray for their safety, protection, and success in carrying out their duties.
ISEYIN DESERVES SECURITY, PEACE, AND DEVELOPMENT!
