Blessing CEO Faces N69.15m Fraud Trial Over Lekki Property Lease

Nigerian social media influencer Blessing Nkiruka Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, is facing trial over an alleged ₦69.15 million property fraud involving a five-year lease agreement in Lekki, Lagos.

During proceedings at the Special Offences Court in Ikeja on Monday, October 12, 2026, prosecution witness Dr Onuoha Okeigwe told the court that he paid the money on behalf of Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited for a property allegedly represented as belonging to the influencer.

According to the witness, the dispute arose after a man identified as Mr Tom allegedly appeared at the property with police officers and arrested some workers. He claimed Blessing CEO maintained that she owned the building despite the dispute.

The witness also told the court that he paid additional agency, legal and caution fees and identified WhatsApp messages allegedly showing the influencer sending photographs of the property as proof of ownership.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had arraigned Blessing CEO on a two-count charge of obtaining money by false pretence and stealing. She pleaded not guilty to the allegations.

In July, the court granted her ₦20 million bail, with conditions including two sureties and travel restrictions pending the determination of the case.

Justice Rahman Oshodi adjourned the trial until October 26, 2026, for continuation of proceedings.

The allegations remain before the court, and Blessing CEO has not been convicted of the offences.
